  • Reef Ecologic & Museum of Underwater Art: Ocean Sentinals installation

I was contracted by world-renowned sculptor, Jason DeCaires Taylor as his assistant media specialist and underwater videographer for the most recent deployment of 8 new underwater sculptures into the Museum of Underwater Art. This collection titled, The Ocean Sentinels highlighted 8 key ocean scientists and advocates, including Dr. David Vaughn, Dr. Peter Harrison, and more.

I am currently creating a short film documenting the installation to be released on Reef Ecologic, MOUA and Jason’s pages for World Ocean’s Day.

It was an amazing experience to be part of such a milestone and the Reef Ecologic team and Jason were an absolute pleasure to work with.

  • Catching Rays Documentary Short

I am currently directing, filming and producing my first mini-documentary highlighting the work of JCU Ph.D. student, Jaelen Myers. She is studying stingray feeding and movement ecology in the sand flats of Lucinda, employing a number of methods for data collection, including non-lethal stomach content samples, stable isotope analyses, and drone tracking.

  • Ocean in Motion Film Contest with Ocean Plastic Campaigner, Kaysha Kenney

I, along with Michele Reed Basangan, will be creating a 5 minute short film highlighting the plastic pollution crisis that plagues our seas. We will be creating a narrative through the eyes of ocean plastic campaigner, Kaysha Kenney, who has removed over 3,000 pounds of trash since 2021.
